For a very natural glam- Yes! I do recommend this product.

Review: Loreal Infallible Sculpt Contouring Palette - £9.99

Hi Beauties,

This is a continuation of the previous review, if you haven't seen that yet, please make sure to check out The Loreal Paris Infallible Sculpt Base/Foundation Review.

So, Now I am going to review The Loreal Paris Infallible Sculpt Contouring palette in shade 03 Medium to dark. Ok let's start reviewing.

Review

What it Does (as Said on the Package):

Get naturally defined to dramatically sculpted look.

Application Recommendation on Package:

1) Light Shade: Highlight cheekbones and chin
2) Dark Shade: Contour hollows of cheeks and temples
2) Blend the two shades for a flawlessly sculpted finish.

Experience on my face:

I applied the contouring shades as directed, firstly I started off with applying the highlight shade on cheekbone, forehead and chin.  Then I applied the contouring shade on the hollows of my cheeks and temple. And then I blended both of them with
MAC 163 Contour Brush. Blending is super effortless with this pallet.  As it is very smooth, but the down side was that I didn't notice any difference on my face after first application, so I tried again by doing step 1 and 2 as directed on the package but
for step 3 I blended off only the edges instead of the whole product and this time I did see the difference. Contouring shade dried in seconds.

Experience rating: 4/5

Results:

Natural sculpt
Matte Finish
Long Lasting

Result rating: 4/5

Product's Longetivity:

As stated on the website it does stay long time. I have only used it once, so I will be updating this section soon after few use.

Longevity Rating: 4.5/5

Packaging:

There is nothing to be complained on about the packaging as it is very steady and perfect for travelling with.  My personal complain would be the colour selection  for this package, yellow doesn't go well together with black. its all personal preference.

Package Rating: 5/5

Consistency of the product:

This product's consistency is cream to powder and it's super smooth and blendable.

Consistency rating: 5/5

Pros:

Steady Packaging
Effortless Application
Consistency
Perfect for travelling with
Long lasting
Lightweight

Cons:

Gives out less definition when blended too much

What I Like about this Product:

The very best thing I like about this product is the effortless application and the base/foundation that comes with this range blends well together with the contour/Highlight creams.

Suitable Undertone:

This product is suitable for cool tones but I believe it compliments just fine any undertones.

Suitable Audience:

For the ones who are looking for a very natural and Lightweight contour.

Do I reccommend this?

Absolutely Yes!

Overal rating: 4.9/5
My reccomendation would be to definetely buy the Loreal Paris Infallible Sculpt Base/Foundation with this product as this blends and combines super effortlessly with that base.

Hope you enjoyed this review. I will be updating the Infallible Sculpt Contouring Trio Blush pallet review next, Until then, If you enjoyed this review please give it a thumbs up and comment down your feedback below.

Review: L'oreal Paris Infallible Sculpt Base/Foundation - £8.99

Hi Beauties,

Finally.. I got time to review this trio, if you are following me on Instagram or on Snapchat, you probably would have known by now that I received this product yesterday from BzzAgent.

BTW if you haven't did yet, go follow me on Snapchat: Eyeblogbeauty and on Instagram: Makeupvideox.

Okay, let's jump straight into the review.

Review:

What it Says in the Package:

A light Coverage base that matches skin's colour for a unifying and smoothing effect. Build's a perfect level of blendable coverage.

Recommended Applying Method:

Smooth onto skin in a circular motion for a natural looking, unified complexion.

My Experience:

I applied the Foundation/Base on my face as directed on the package.  Using Morphe M439 brush, I added about 2 drops of the product on top of the brush and smoothed onto my face in a circular motion, as the product's fluid consistency, it took me a bit too long to blend as these type of consistencies create more visible brush strokes.

Experience Rating: 3/5

Results:

Very Light Coverage
Matte Finish
Light Weight

Result Rating: 3/5

Products Longevity:

About 7-10 hours. As I have only worn this product once, I am not sure about this but I will update this section after few days of use.

Packaging:

The bottle is made out of glass and it comes with a pump dispenser, the dispenser and  the lid are a bit flimsy and shaky but maybe its just me, the whole package looks a bit cheap but its fine as it is a drugstore makeup.

Package Rating: 2.5/5

Consistency of the Product:

The consistency of this foundation is fluid and super smooth.

Consistency rating: 2.5/5

Pros:

Lightweight and
combines so well together with any other makeup

Cons:

Packaging
Takes a bit too long to blend
Currently only 2 shades available
01 Light to Medium and 03 Medium to dark

What I Like About this foundation:

As this foundation is very lightweight and perfect for natural glam
and this foundation combines so well together with contouring or any other product that you are going to wear next.

What I don't Like About this Product:

Mainly the Lid of the packaging, I am a bit concerned about this product dripping all over my drawer :D the next thing that I would like to point out is the drying duration as it may crease if you are intending to conceal your dark circles after
applying this foundation. I believe, the company haven't mentioned about this in their website.

Suitable Undertone:

I believe this foundation will be suitable for  neutral to combination undertone.

Suitable Audience:

This foundation is perfect for the people who are after a very light coverage glam and the people who are searching a right base for contouring.

Do I Recommend this:

Yes! You can totally rock the natural glam with this lightweight goddess

Overall Rating: 3.8/5

Hope you enjoyed this review. I will be updating the infallible sculpt contour pallet review next. Until then, if you enjoyed this review please give it a thumbs up and comment down your feedback below.

Maybelline New York 24h Super Stay Foundation & Pressed Powder Review, Swatches, Pictures, Applying method and more..

Hi there beauties,

Today I am going to review these two products and teach you how to apply them.

One of my friend recommended me this combo when I was a beginner, well I am still thankful for her as I am using it everyday even now.  Before I got to know about this foundation, I failed big time in makeup.  Okay let's jump straight into the review.

Products used in this post

> Maybelline New York - 24h super stay foundation £8.99

> Maybelline New York - 24h super stay pressed powder £6.99

Offer: Get Foundation for £5.98 and Pressed powder for £4.98 at Wilkinson's/Wilko.com

About foundation

What it does(as said on foundation bottle)

Resists heat, humidity and sweat for a flawless fresh looking finish.
Non transfer: won't rub off
Flexible, breathable all day comfort
Oil-free
Doesn't clog pores
Upto 24h wear

Experience on my face:
This foundation made me feel like it's my own skin..this never gave me the feeling of "I have worn something on my face"
The thing I mostly like about the product is it's support for my applying methods..it slides on very smoothly..and its super blendable too.

Results:
This product is not heavy and perfect for natural looks
as it gives out 75% coverage yet it improves the look big time giving out flawless finish effortlessly.

How long does the product last:
As I am using this product for about 3 years I can say that this foundation won't stay on more than about 8 hours as it claims to be, it darkens my skin after that time period.  However this never been a big problem for me since I don't usually stay outside more than 8 hours.

Packaging details:
The bottle is made out of glass and it comes with a pump dispenser, it has got the right amount of makeup for each pump, one pump itself is enough if you use a stippling brush.  The lid of this foundation is plastic and it is a bit flimsy.

Consistency of the product:
This foundation contains a very smooth liquid. and it slides on skin effortlessly which itself is enough for the beginners.

Pros:
Not heavy
Natural finish
Super blendable
Perfect pump
Foundation glides on face effortlessly

Cons:
Less shades available
Stays on only for 8 or less hours
Flimsy lid

What I like about this:
Almost everything about this foundation is a plus for me.  I have used about 4 types of foundations before trying this one out.  This one gave my learning hand a big support by being super skin friendly product.

What I don't like about this:
The foundation supposed to stay for 24 hours but this one fails on that part as it turns my face a bit darker after about 8 hours well that's just a one time thing as I don't wear them for a long time anyway.

Suitable undertone:
This foundation works best with warm or neutral undertone (in case if you are confused what undertone you have don't worry, I will explain it thoroughly in my next post:)

Age group:
As I am a freelance makeup artist, yes I do use this product as well.  Some of my clients come for everyday looks too.  This product is suitable for pretty much every age groups as this won't be a heavy product for aged skin nor it will be an under coverage foundation for teenagers.

Overall feedback:
If you are looking for a foundation that stays on more than 8 hours or gives out full coverage, well this is not for you.  But this foundation is a miracle worker on its own way.  If you are looking for an everyday look that gives out flawless natural finish then this is for you.

I am using this product almost about 3 years and I am pretty darn sure that I am not going to switch any soon

Do I recommend this product?
Personally, I do recommend this product because this particular combo is perfect for everyday use.  I have used about 13 foundation in the past few years but for my everyday look I still use this fantastic combo.. they are just amazing for me.

About Pressed Powder

What it does(as said on the powder container)
Waterproof powder for flawless coverage and shine control all day long.  Resists shine, oil, sweat, heat and humidity.

Experience on my face:
This product has never let me down.  This is one of my favourite for everyday look, this never made my face feel cakey, if applied the right amount.

Results:
This powder sets my foundation, mattify my face very well and it does prevent my face from oil as it claims to be.

Packaging details:
This product comes in a white strong plastic, and it contains a soft sponge which I don't really use much for applying powder. The packaging is obviously not flimsy or anything.

Do I recommend this product?
Yes I do recommend this product as this powder goes pretty much well with the foundation above without giving cakey results at the same time.

Overall feedback:
If you are looking for a flawless matte finish with oil control for a whole day.  Well this powder is for you, this is suitable for people who are aiming for a natural finish.

Okay thats pretty much it about the review.  Let's go for the applying method (my way).

How I apply them:

Firstly, I thoroughly Moisturize my face with Nivea Soft Moisturizer

After about 5mins

I apply Rimmel London Stay Matte Primer

And then I press one pump of Maybelline New York 24h super stay foundation on my hand

Using a stippling brush I dap the brush gently on the foundation

I gently press the brush on my cheek and move in upper circular motion preventing the hard bristles AKA black part of the brush from touching my face(I got this trick from Goss Makeup, that Technic was very helpful)

When all of the face is covered with right amount of coverage

I use my Maybelline New York 24h Super stay pressed powder to set my foundation on place using a powder brush from Real Techniques..

Tip: may it be foundation or powder, be more gentle on your T-zone as it may wake up your flakes when you apply make up on the opposite direction from them.

Well that's it guys

I hope this review and routine helped most of you beauties on deciding what to buy as per your preference and how to wear them. Have a great day.

About me in brief

Hi there Beauty, glad you came across my Blog :)

As I can't include more than 500 characters in the description area I have made it into a post

here you go...

If you are coming from my Instagram then yes this is my Blog

I am Farhath Khan, I reside in London ,I am a passionate makeup lover who is now a professional Makeup Artist too.

other than makeup, I am a Legal Secretarial Diploma holder + Learning Photographer and Law Student.

Anyways back to makeup, my interest in makeup begun when I was 15, the one thing I learned in my journey is definitely that practice can make a huge difference.  yes I have failed a lot in makeup too :D

I have medium Asian skin tone with warm undertone, so most of the post on this blog will be done on products that suits my skin tone but i will try to give a substitute.

I believe that YOU can do it too if I can!

In this blog I will review products, give you make up tutorials with product details with step by step instructions, tips & tricks and much more.

At the moment I will be reviewing/doing looks with drugstore products as it will be a good start up for the beginners who are passionate about learning new things in makeup but does not want to splurge their money on high end products. I will help you to jump out of your comfort zone AKA mascara, BB cream and lip balm :P  some high end brands may include in the looks but I will give drugstore substitutes for them.

Okay guys that's pretty much it, I really hope you like this blog and become a regular viewer.
